What Is Mediation?
Mediation is an alternative to traditional divorce proceedings where each side has their own attorney.
In mediation, a couple hires one mediator who is neutral. The mediator doesn’t represent either side.
A mediator helps the couple come to an agreement on all divorce issues. These issues can range from parenting plans and child support to division of assets/debts and spousal support.
Who Can Use A Mediator?
- Legally married couples: We’ll help you work through the divorce process with a neutral party
- Engaged Couples: We can get you off on the right foot by helping create a marital agreement.
- Common law married couples: even though you never formally got married, you may still need to formally divorce – we can help.
- Attorneys: for litigation cases
- Parents who were never married: We’ll work together on setting up parenting time and decision-making.

Why Use A Mediator?
Saves money: Hiring one mediator and not two attorneys saves money right out of the gate.
Saves time: Often hiring attorneys leads to extended court battles that can last years. Mediation is faster and less
Less stress: Extended court battles and attorney fees lead to more stress than most people want to deal with.
Let us help make this difficult time easier.
